For over fifteen years, the Child Frontiers team has worked on some of the most pressing child welfare, protection and justice issues in East and Southern Africa and globally, partnering with governments, United Nations agencies, international non-governmental organizations, and national civil society agencies and networks.

Our collaborations across the region have offered us a rare vantage point and opportunity to challenge our assumptions, observe how duty-bearers are adapting at a time of intense social, political, economic and climatic upheaval, and reflect on what can be done better to protect children from harm. But we want to know your ideas!
 

We believe that this is a timely moment to collate and absorb our collective learning. This regional dialogue comes in the context of a rapidly changing child protection landscape, shaped by global financial pressures, accelerating climate change, conflict and instability, and the expanding digitization of abuse and exploitation.
