In March 2020, a Report authored by Child Frontiers and produced by Young Lives as part of the Young Marriage and Parenthood Study (YMAPS), a 3-year program of comparative research examining young marriage and parenthood in Zambia, was launched.
Review of Policies and Plans of Action for UNICEF in West and Central Africa Child Frontiers analysed the factors that drive and impact initiatives to develop child protection policy and plans in 24 countries of the West and Central Africa region for UNICEF.
Evaluation of Child Friendly Spaces in the Aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) Child Frontiers analysed the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of UNICEF-supported CFS in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan.
Child Frontiers assisted the Ghanaian government to develop a Child and Family Welfare Policy in 2014 that is now being rolled out. In 2012 the Government of Solomon Islands was supported to develop a national Child and Family Welfare System Policy.
In 2018, Child Frontiers conducted a study for War Child UK on the push and pull factors influencing children to join armed groups ‘voluntarily’ in Democratic Republic of the Congo. The report, 'Tug of War: Children in Armed Groups in DRC (English French), presents the findings of research conducted with 150 children and 80 adults in five sites in North and South Kivu via the disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration (DDR) centres.
